The Federal Campus Safety and Security ("Clery") Act was passed by Congress in 1990 and has undergone a series of amendments most recently in 2022 under the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

The Act requires colleges and universities receiving federal funding (financial aid) to publish crime and fire statistics, disclose safety policies, and provide notification to the community about incidents that pose a threat to members of our community. The document that communicates these requirements is the Annual Security Report. This Report is sent out to our community by the beginning of October each year and is posted on our institutional website for further review and reference.

Important Note: This page was designed to help the 澳门六合彩开奖app community understand their responsibilities under the Clery Act only. Be aware that definitions for reporting statistics are prescribed by the Clery Act and may not align exactly with other federal, state or College reporting methodologies. This page does not cover Title IX responsibilities which may run concurrently or exist above and beyond those requirements. Please contact the Assistant Vice President for Compliance and Title IX Coordinator or refer to resources they provide for information on those requirements.
