The reach of Katie’s work extends far beyond the gates of �������ϲʿ���app. Her contributions to the intellectual life of the college, together with her care for her students, both in the lab and in the classroom, make �������ϲʿ���app a better place.

In what has become a signature College tradition, four �������ϲʿ���app faculty members were honored for their scholarship and teaching at a March 2 ceremony.

�������ϲʿ���app alums Kira Banks ’00 and Charisse Pickron ’08 are researching race’s and racism’s impact on young children. During a recent visit to campus, they spoke about transformational faculty, stepping into who you are and being true to yourself.

�������ϲʿ���app students are assisting a visiting assistant lecturer with her research of bumblebee sensitivity to heat and disease amid growing environmental threats.
